• Your browsing history - We never see or store the websites you visit

📈 We ONLY Collect (Anonymously):

• Anonymous User ID - A random identifier generated on your device to count unique users (cannot identify you personally)
• Event Types - Actions like "session saved" or "session restored" (NO URLs or tab content ever included)
• Extension Version - To know which version users have for debugging and improvements
• Platform Type - Operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) for compatibility fixes

💾 Where Your Tab Data Lives

Your actual saved tabs NEVER leave your computer.

• Tab data (URLs, titles, session info) stores locally using Chrome's storage.local API
• Only you can access your saved sessions
• Uninstalling TabPurge removes all locally stored data from your device
• No one, including us, can see your saved tabs

🔒 Data Storage for Analytics

Anonymous analytics data transmits securely via HTTPS to our server hosted on Railway.app. This data:

• Contains NO personal information
• Contains NO URLs or browsing data
• Contains ONLY anonymous event counts
• Is encrypted during transmission

🛡️ Third-Party Services

TabPurge uses the following third-party service:

• Railway.app (Cloud hosting) - Stores encrypted anonymous analytics data. See Railway's Privacy Policy

No other third parties have access to any data.

👤 Your Rights and Choices

• Opt-out anytime - Simply uninstall TabPurge from Chrome to stop all data collection immediately
• Delete your analytics data - Contact the email below to request permanent deletion of your anonymous analytics data
• Clear local data - In Chrome, go to Extensions → TabPurge → Clear storage

👶 Children's Privacy

TabPurge does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The extension performs only tab session management functions and is not directed at children.

Within the TabPurge popup, you will see this disclosure:
